Summary
To allow the post holder to gain further experience in advanced endoscopy techniques. This position would be suitable for someone nearing the completion of their training, as part of an Out of Programme Experience (OOPE). The post holder will be part of the endoscopy training team and may be required to participate in departmental training sessions. The department is currently working towards establishing JAGaccredited courses, and the post holder will contribute to their delivery. Main Duties / Key Result Areas The post holder will be expected to provide four service lists per week as part of endoscopy backfill, allocated flexibly. One of these lists will be an inpatient list. The post holder will have two dedicated training lists in advanced endoscopy, tailored to their training needs. Two sessions of endoscopy referral triage and gastroenterology referral triage. One audit/project session. One admin session.
