Job Title: Teacher of Performing Arts (Maternity Cover)
Location: Coventry
Start Date: February 2026 (approx.)
Contract Type: Maternity cover – approximately 10 months
Working Pattern: Full-time

About You

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Performing Arts Teacher who can inspire students of all abilities. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across drama, music, and dance, helping students develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, organised, and able to combine practical and theoretical approaches to learning. You will work closely with students to nurture imagination, resilience, and self-expression, supporting them to achieve their full potential as a Performing Arts Teacher.

The Right Candidate Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


  • Have strong subject knowledge in Performing Arts, including experience in drama, music, and dance


  • Be confident in planning and delivering lessons that are engaging, creative, and inclusive


  • Be able to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
