About the role:
As part of the Education Directorate’s newly established Education Planning and Resource Service, this strategic role will lead the development and delivery of Welsh medium education across Powys. You will be responsible for implementing the Welsh in Education Strategic Plan (WESP), supporting the Transforming Education Strategy,

About you:
You are a fluent Welsh speaker with a strong understanding of Welsh-medium education policy, bilingual pedagogy, and strategic planning. What you will do:
You will work closely with colleagues across the Education Directorate, other Council services, schools and partner organisations to ensure a coherent and joined-up approach to developing Welsh-medium provision from early years through to post-16.
