Experienced Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support
Primary School | Bury
Full-Time | February Half Term - July

Talent Education are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in Bury, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a full-time role, starting after February half term and continuing until July, offering the opportunity to make a real difference during a key period of the academic year.

The Role:
• Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs
• Supporting pupils to engage positively with learning and manage behaviour effectively
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider support staff
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with Read Write Inc. (RWI) would be advantageous
