Job Title: Team Leader
Location: Pembrokeshire (multiple locations)
Contract: Full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent position
Rate of Pay: £13.26 – £13.85 per hour (depending on experience)
Elliots Hill Care is looking to recruit motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our care services across Pembrokeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with care experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
As a Team Leader, you will provide hands-on support while also playing a key role in the day-to-day leadership of staff, supporting service delivery, and promoting best practice across the service.
The Role
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals
Take responsibility for the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of individuals
Lead, support, and motivate a team of Support Workers
Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect at all times
Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care where required
Assist with rota coordination and day-to-day operational tasks
Maintain accurate records and support care planning
Act as a positive role model, promoting good practice and organisational values
Escalate concerns appropriately and support compliance with CIW and organisational standards
You will work on a rota basis, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Sleep-ins and waking nights may be required depending on the service.
About You
Essential:
Minimum 1 year’s experience working in the care sector
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum)
Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (if not already achieved)
A caring, reliable, and professional approach
Good communication and basic IT skills
Flexible, resilient, and able to support others
Desirable:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
Previous experience in a senior support or leadership role
Welsh language skills
