Looking for a flexible, part-time role where your credit control skills will really make a difference? This could be just the one.
We are recruiting for a hands-on Credit Controller to support a small, friendly business based near Colsterworth. This is a temporary ongoing position, ideal if you enjoy variety, working closely with an Office Manager, and helping get an aged debtor ledger back on track.
Please note: Due to the rural location, own transport is essential (no public transport available)
What you will be doing:
• Supporting the Office Manager with an aged debtor backlog
• Carrying out soft credit control on overdue invoices
• Answering incoming calls and taking messages
• Using SAGE to locate and allocate payments.
• Invoice allocation, reconciliation, matching and batching.
• General paperwork, filing and data entry
What we are looking for:
• Previous experience in credit control / accounts receivable / accounts assistant roles
• Solid SAGE experience, particularly invoicing
• Confident data entry skills and good attention to detail
• Friendly, professional telephone manner
• Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.
• General administration or office experience
Hours & flexibility:
• Monday to Friday, 10am–3pm (25 hours per week)
• Can be worked as 5 shorter days or fewer longer days, if preferred
This role would suit someone who enjoys a small business environment, credit control, accounts assistant, accounts receivable, likes being hands-on, and is happy rolling up their sleeves to help where needed.
