Working 36 hours per week between 6:30am and 8:30pm, Monday to Friday, on a permanent, full‑time 52‑week contract.

Working 22.5 hours per week between 6:30am and 8:30pm, Monday to Friday, on a permanent, full‑time 52‑week contract.
About the role
Key tasks:
Providing a reception service for visitors and Fife Council colleagues, providing general information and assisting with enquiries either in person or by phone, e-mail.
Acting as the first point of contact for customer complaints and comments. Resolving when possible and escalating non routine problems or issues to their Facilities and Civic Officer.
Carrying out building compliance checks, including water testing and fire safety
Carrying out building and equipment inspections as instructed. Requesting any relevant repairs as a result of the inspection
Undertaking basic grounds maintenance such as litter picking and snow clearing of access areas as required.
Responsible for the opening and closing of the building/depot, including initial walk round checks
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 to £25, 885.80 and have access to a range of benefits, including:

The Person
Educated to SCQF level 5, which includes National 5 or SVQ level 2 or Standard Grades at Credit level including English or equivalent.
Ensuring the safe and efficient procedures of a range of buildings. (Take ownership - See ‘How We Work Matters’ Framework).
Experience of resolving telephone enquiries.
Communication skills.
Team working skills (work together).
