Yn aml iawn, chi fydd y pwynt cyswllt cyntaf i’r cyhoedd a byddwch yn rhoi cyngor ar faterion parcio yn ogystal â chyngor a gwybodaeth yn gyffredinol; wrth gynrychioli’r Cyngor byddwch yn gwrtais a phroffesiynol bob amser.

Bydd yn fanteisiol i feddu ar brofiad o weithio wyneb yn wyneb â chwsmeriaid a phrawf o’r gallu i ymdrin â sefyllfaoedd dadleuol ac weithiau tanllyd mewn ffordd bwyllog a diplomatig.

Darperir hyfforddiant llawn, gan gynnwys cymhwyster Bwrdd Hyfforddi ac Ymgynghorol y Diwydiant Rheoli Gwastraff sy’n safonol yn y diwydiant Gorfodi Parcio.

Bydd yn ofynnol gweithio ar benwythnosau ar sail rota a darperir tâl ychwanegol am hynny.

Do you have a desire to work outdoors? Do you enjoy interacting with people? Are you calm, composed and resilient? This may be the role for you.

The successful applicant will join a dedicated team providing parking enforcement, aiming to reduce the number of illegally parked vehicles in the borough, and promoting the free flow of traffic. The role involves carrying out patrols throughout the borough on a rota basis, either alone or as part of a team: with the use of a hand held computer you will check that regulations are being followed, and issue Penalty Charge Notices in accordance with legislation and council policy. You will often be the first point of contact for the public, providing guidance on parking matters as well general advice and information; as a representative of the council you will be courteous and professional at all times.

Previous experience in a customer facing role, and proven ability to handle contentious and occasionally volatile situations in a calm and diplomatic manner, will be advantageous.

Full training will be provided, including an industry standard WAMITAB qualification in Parking Enforcement.

Includes weekend work on a rota basis with enhanced pay.
