Work base: Hybrid - Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay, Locality Offices and home


We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join a team that undertake Financial Assessments and Reassessments, for Social Care Clients receiving a chargeable service for residential and non-residential care. In addition to completing financial assessments, the role includes identifying possible welfare benefits and referring to Welfare Rights Unit to maximise income for the individual and potential income for the Authority.


The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working in a financial role although not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for applicants who have excellent numeracy and literacy skills, can work with a high level of accuracy and can collate and analyse information from different sources. With experience of delivering a customer focused service and be able to communicate with vulnerable adults, as well as building partnerships with internal and external agencies. An ability to manage and prioritise own workload is essential as is experience in using computer technology.


Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to obtain a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
