You will be working 22.5 hours a week term time only (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and based at Watford and Hemel Hempstead Campuses.

In this role, you’ll be working closely with students—both one-on-one and in small groups—supporting them with:

• Boosting their GCSE English and Maths skills
• Navigating exams and assessments
• Building up their academic, technical, and research skills
• Mastering study techniques to help them succeed

What we’re looking for:

• You’ve got at least a Level 3 qualification and GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• You’re confident helping students improve their GCSE English and Maths skills
• You’re great at motivating and engaging learners across a range of vocational subjects
• Someone with experience or knowledge in health, social or childcare would be desirable.
• You’re a team player who can also work independently and take initiative
• You’ve got great communication skills and can connect with students, parents, and carers alike
• You’re organised, resourceful, and always put learners first

You’ll also help track student progress, create tailored support plans, and work closely with curriculum teams to make sure every student gets the help they need.

This role could suit someone who is looking to start a career in teaching. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be actively encouraged to upskill.

You can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, pension, generous holiday scheme, time off at Christmas and early finishes on a Friday.
