Summary

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Thames Water team based in Harpenden.

Location: Harpenden STW (Hertfordshire) - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join Kier as a Senior Project Manager and lead the successful delivery of our £54m Harpenden STW project and future large non-infra projects on the Thames Water Framework. As a strategic partner to Thames Water for AMP8 on Capital Frameworks, we're looking for someone who can bring together technical expertise with collaborative leadership skills to ensure excellent project outcomes.

What will you be responsible for?As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the Thames Water Framework team, supporting them in delivering critical infrastructure projects. Your day to day will include:

• Leading the Harpenden project from design through to handover, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget

• Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through our Listen-Measure-Act approach

• Taking responsibility for P&L, delivering forecast margins with effective change management

• Coordinating a multi-disciplinary project team including subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers

• Ensuring the highest standards of Health and Safety are implemented, with wellbeing initiatives actively promoted

What are we looking for?This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if:

• You have a degree or HNC level engineering qualification with proven experience in the water or related industry

• You're familiar with NEC and ICHEME contracts and have robust subcontract administration experience

• You hold APM PMQ and IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications

• You have excellent communication skills and can nurture positive relationships with stakeholders

• You're passionate about creating safe, sustainable project environments
