Summary

Due to an upcoming retirement this is a very rare opportunity to join one one one of the longest established, and culturally brilliant vehicle leasing companies in the UK!

A rare opportunity has arisen at one of the most highly respected leasing companies in the UK for a Business Support Manager.

The company has a strong track record for employee retention and development and is looking for a candidate with experience of the leasing or automotive industry to join them on a full-time basis.

Managing a team of eight, the successful candidate will need to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to oversee the complete end-to-end vehicle purchasing process from quotation through to delivery.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring an effective purchasing process following company processes and procedures. You must ensure that all stakeholders (e.g. various suppliers, customers etc.) are managed throughout the process, inline with company processes and procedures. You shall take ownership of:

Day-to-day team performance management and development
Management of manufacturer and dealer relationships
Management of suppliers and resolution of vehicle or delivery issues
Data management via Leaselink and other fleet industry software
Weekly reporting to senior management on delivery status
Ongoing negotiation of terms with dealers and manufacturers

What are we looking for in a candidate?

First and foremost, experience in people management, and the UK vehicle leasing and or automotive industry – especially related to software and Leaselink. We also need to see:

Automotive/Fleet industry experience
The ability to lead and ensure a team are task focused
Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
Strong communication skills
Confidence in dealing with stakeholders
Ability to take ownership, problem solve and manage relationships
Proficient IT and system skills
