Summary
Early Years Practitioner – Level 3
Location: Local Day Nursery . Maidstone - Kent
Contract: Full-time / Part-time opportunities available
Hours: 8am-5pm
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Lotus Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well‑established day nursery to recruit qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioners. The Role
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development and daily care within a warm and engaging setting.
Key responsibilities include:
-Supporting the planning and delivery of age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
-Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
-Building positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents
-Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress
-Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and individual needs
-Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
-Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
-Have previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
-Demonstrate a caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
-Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
-Be reliable, professional and a strong team player
-Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
