The University of Chichester (Multi) Academy Trust is seeking a committed and forward-thinking individual to join our Board of Trustees. As we grow, we are looking for Trustees who can help shape the future of our Trust, ensuring we continue to deliver excellent education and support across our diverse family of schools. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant, inclusive, and aspirational organisation that places pupil progress and the development of outstanding educators at the heart of its mission.

We are seeking a Human Resources specialist to contribute strategic oversight and professional expertise to our Board of Trustees. This is a voluntary, non-executive role with significant impact.

As a Trustee, you will play a key part in ensuring our Trust delivers exceptional education across all schools, while upholding strong governance, financial integrity, and a positive working culture. Your HR expertise will help guide our people strategy, support robust policies and procedures, and strengthen leadership across the Trust.

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who share our values of aspiration, evidence-informed practice, diversity, collaboration, and agency. If you are passionate about making a difference and shaping futures, we would love to hear from you.

Ideal candidate

• Senior level HR experience (CIPD qualification advisable)
• Understanding of employment law and best practice in people management
• Strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills
• Commitment to improving educational outcomes for children and young people
• Willingness to engage with training and contribute actively to Board duties.
