We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Workplace Host to deliver exceptional front-of-house and facilities support across a large, multi-floor corporate office.​

This is a varied and hands-on role that combines reception duties, facilities management, post and print room operations, and event/meeting room coordination.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be flexible, organised, and enthusiastic about providing a high-quality experience for visitors and employees alike.​

You will play a key role in maintaining professional standards, supporting day-to-day operations, and ensuring the smooth running of a dynamic workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for visitors, managing check-in, badges, calls, and emails.

Liaise with security, couriers, and vendors to ensure seamless front-of-house operations.

Conduct daily checks of meeting rooms, restrooms, and common areas, logging and following up on maintenance issues.

Support health and safety compliance and manage facilities supplies and records.

Deliver a high-quality on-site experience, handling feedback and driving service improvements.

Sort and distribute mail and packages, manage print jobs and equipment, and coordinate deliveries.

Organise meeting room bookings, setup/takedown, and coordinate AV, furniture, and catering requirements.

Assist with internal events and meetings, ensuring all logistical and operational needs are met.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Previous experience in facilities management, reception/front-of-house, or a customer-facing role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.

Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with room booking and visitor management systems is a plus.

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail.
