Summary

Neighbourhoods and Housing are looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated person to help deliver financial assistance and adaptations citywide.
Your role will be a key operational lead in managing and ensuring continuous improvement of the financial assistance and adaptations processes for citywide delivery.
Your role will involve coordinating delivery of current cases and managing the Business Support Officer (BSO) Team to ensure that there is a comprehensive approach to the team delivery to reduce complaints and improve performance.
You will be expected to support the Team Manager, Principal Surveyors, Project Officers and wider team members including technical staff and wider strategic partners such as Occupational Therapy (OT) services, to ensure that the team delivers on its Key Performance Indicators to meet statutory duties.
You will be expected to have experience of change management, effective business management and forward thinking along with a confident and professional manner to be able to respond to formal and informal complaints.
You must be motivated to collaborate with wider team members to support vulnerable people who are at the heart of our work within the Private Financial Assistance Team, ultimately contributing to the wider Neighbourhoods and Housing Departments service delivery.
You must have a key understanding of housing legislation and knowledge of service improvement initiatives, frameworks and methodologies to ensure that cases are dealt with effectively and efficiently to ensure customers remain living independently in their own homes.
