Summary
To assist the Senior Registry Officer with the administration of the assessment cycle for Roehampton and collaborative courses, including invigilated exams where relevant.
To line manage, develop and support junior staff, and co-ordinate with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of assessment support, where appropriate.
To contribute to and help maintain module and component set up in relation to the Student Record System (SRS) assessment data.
To assist with training and staff support in relation to the SRS.
To produce and distribute in advance board reports for the University Awards and Progression Boards and to develop the best practice for submission of marks and recommendations from the School/Faculty offices and/or collaborative partners, ensuring marks are received in accordance with agreed format and deadlines; to ensure that marks and mark amendments are recorded onto the SRS in an accurate and timely fashion and that Chair’s Actions are taken for assessment decisions made outside of the University’s Awards and Progression boards.
To implement the recommendations of the Boards ensuring that all students are sent notification of their assessment results and any required next steps.
To monitor the application of and provide advice and guidance in relation to the University’s academic regulations.
To foster effective working relationships with School and Faculty administrators and academics and the University’s collaborative partners.
To deploy the use of IT systems to maximise service and efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement of Registry processes.
To communicate with external bodies in relation to students’ change of status, where relevant.
To undertake any other requirements commensurate with the seniority of the post/as required by the head of department.
