Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who:
• is able to demonstrate that they are consistently anexcellent teacher;
• will take the lead on managing the school operationally in partnership with the Headteacher and current leadership team;
• will lead on a number of key priority areas from the school implementation plan;
• can lead, develop and enhance the practice of others;
• is committed to ongoing professional development.
• has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example, maintain positivity at all times and have the ability to have challenging conversations;
• possesses the ability to inspire others and successfully manage change,establishing excellent working relationships with all staff, external professionals, governors, pupils and parents;
• has excellent experience, knowledge and understanding of inclusive practice;
• will ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils and their families by influencing best practice across the school;
• will fully support the Christian vision and values of the school when working with children, staff and parents;
• is an innovative, forward thinker who has a good sense of humour.

As well as supporting the Headteacher with the strategic leadership of the school, our new Deputy Headteacher will take the lead on one or more of these school priority areas: Safeguarding, Inclusion, Teaching and Learning, Curriculum and Personal Development, EYFS, Behaviour and Attendance or Professional Development.
