Summary

We’re looking for an excellent People Services Administrator to join our People Team and play a key role in delivering efficient, accurate, and people-focused administrative support to our stores and wider HR function. You’ll help ensure that our employee lifecycle processes run seamlessly, supporting onboarding, payroll, compliance, and essential HR data management.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career within a People team, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of HR activities.

This is a fixed-term contract until the end of August 2026.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Manage the digital offer, contracts and onboarding process for all store employees.

· Proactively track Right to Work documentation and update People Advisors about upcoming expiries.

· Obtain background checks and references for new starters and respond to reference requests within SLAs.

· Process leavers and ensure all documentation is issued, archived, and stored correctly.

· Process payroll-related documents and support the Payroll team with payslip validation.

· Maintain accurate employee files and support the transition from paper files to digital e‑files.

· Provide HR data, insights, and ad-hoc reports to support effective decision-making.

· Keep up to date with legislation and apply this knowledge in your daily work.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

· Previous experience in a HR or office administration role.

· Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. As well as strong organisational and time management skills.

· Strong MS Office skills—particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks.

· Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.

· A collaborative team mindset and confidence in building relationships.
