We’re looking for a Patient Services Supervisor to lead and support our team in providing high-quality cleaning and catering services that ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Description
As the Patient Services Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety across the hospital.
You’ll supervise and motivate the team, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and infection control policies while delivering services efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and support staff to achieve service standards in cleaning and catering.
Organise and allocate work schedules, ensuring adherence to quality and safety requirements.
Monitor and maintain stock, equipment, and uniforms for your team.
Ensure compliance with company and Trust policies, including health, safety, and confidentiality.
Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and return-to-work discussions.
Maintain accurate records for quality monitoring, training, and staff performance.
Respond proactively to service needs and escalate issues as required.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Previous experience managing teams in a healthcare or hospitality environment.
Level 2 Food Safety qualification (training can be provided).
Knowledge and understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
Knowledge of National Cleaning Standards 2021.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
