Summary
Site Support – Educational Environment
30 Hours/Week - Weekday Afternoons & Saturday Mornings
Location: Northfield/Bournville area
We’re seeking a reliable, proactive Site Support team member to join our facilities operation in a dynamic educational setting. This role supports the smooth running of the site through general duties, maintenance collaboration, and structured compliance routines.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out general site duties including cleaning, basic maintenance, and grounds support
• Assist with room setups, event preparation, and site readiness for school activities
• Monitor site security, access control, and safeguarding protocols
• Support health & safety routines and emergency response procedures
• Liaise with contractors and escalate site issues to the Site Manager
• Work alongside our in-house maintenance and facilities team as required
• Maintain structured logs for tasks, incidents, and compliance checks
Requirements
• Experience in site, caretaking, or facilities roles preferred
• Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety in school environments
• Able to follow structured routines and work independently
• DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Working Pattern
• 30 hours per week
• Afternoon shifts Monday to Thursday
• Saturday morning shift
• Fixed weekly pattern with no expectation of additional hours at other sites however also available +Plus, the option of working extra with our in-house refurbishment team.
