The Federation of the Church Schools of Shalfleet and Freshwater & Yarmouth are seeking to appoint a part-time HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT to work across the Federation

Working pattern:

To cover PPA, week A at Freshwater & Yarmouth CE Primary as follows:

Monday: all day in Year 1
Tuesday: PM in Year 4
Wednesday: all day in Year 3
Thursday: all day in Year 2
Total week A hours: 22 hours

To cover PPA, week B at Shalfleet CE Primary as follows:

Tuesday: all day in Year 1
Thursday: all day in Year 5
Total week B hours: 13 hours

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA ready to make a real impact on children’s learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive Federation. The role will be working across both schools to cover the PPA of our teachers.

About You

Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualification
Has a proven experience working in a primary school setting
Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills
Is confident in managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive learning environment
Is passionate about helping children thrive academically and socially
