Part-Time Teaching Assistants - Special Educational Needs (SEN)Location: Walsall Area Hours: Part-Time (Flexible Days) Start Date: ImmediateAre you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are working with a highly respected special school in Walsall that caters for pupils aged 3-19 years with a diverse range of complex needs.This inclusive setting supports pupils with:
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Complex medical and physical needs
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning and achieve their full potential. You'll work across the school, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.Your Role Will Include:
- Delivering 1:1 and small group support
- Assisting with personal care and mobility needs
- Supporting communication and sensory activities
- Encouraging independence and social interaction
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in SEN settings or a genuine interest in special education
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to undertake training (e.g., Team Teach, Moving & Handling)
