Summary

Commercial Manager

We're looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join our Kier Places business, playing a key leadership role in shaping and delivering our commercial strategy across the PFI region/workstream.

Location: Agile working considered where possible able to commute to London Hours: 08:30 to 17:00 (flexible working available)

What will you be responsible for?

As Senior Commercial Manager, you'll act as the commercial lead for the FM Business, ensuring all commercial activities are effectively managed, controlled and aligned to Kier's governance, standards and strategic objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

-Leading and developing high-performing commercial teams, providing guidance, support and clear direction

-Owning commercial strategy across projects to maximise margin, manage risk and improve performance

-Managing contract performance, valuations, cashflow, WIP, forecasts and change control processes

-Providing contractual and commercial advice across tenders, bids, mobilisation and delivery

-Building and maintaining strong client relationships and supporting complex negotiations, claims and dispute resolution

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Commercial Manager is great for you if:

-You have proven experience leading and managing teams of Commercial Managers

-You have experience in FM sector (preferably PFI Contracts)

-You are degree qualified or equivalent, with strong contractual and financial reporting knowledge

-You have experience developing and implementing robust commercial procedures and controls

-You are confident managing a wide range of contract conditions and complex commercial risk

-You are a visible leader who builds trust, drives performance and supports team development
