The focus at Park Vale Academy is on outstanding achievement for every student through maintaining a culture of extremely high expectations in relation to student conduct and attitudes. Consequently, academic results have improved significantly since the school re-opened in 2016 and the last OFSTED inspection (2024) graded the school as good in every category.To be successful in this role you will have:• QTS• Degree level qualification (subject specific)• Able to teach full range of ability 11-16• Able to maintain high standards of discipline• Able to use a range of strategies to promote learning• Able to manage and encourage good behaviour• Able to develop positive and meaningful relationships with students• Able to make appropriate use of ICT for learning• Understanding of how to use data to inform planning and improve students’ performance• Understanding of a range of assessment for learning approaches, including grades where appropriate• Able to communicate with students, parents and carers about pupil’s progressPark Vale Academy is part of Redhill Academy Trust.
