Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' housing needs and circumstances.
Develop personalized housing plans in collaboration with clients.
Provide information about available housing resources, eligibility, and application processes.
Facilitate communication between clients and relevant service providers or agencies.
Advocate for clients' needs and ensure they access necessary support services.
Monitor clients' progress toward achieving their housing goals and adjust plans as needed.
Stay informed about local housing market trends, policies, and regulations to provide accurate guidance.,
Establish and maintain professional relationships with community partners and stakeholders.,
Document all client interactions and maintain accurate case records in compliance with organizational policies.,
Participate in community outreach efforts and contribute to housing workshops and informational sessions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience working in housing services, case management, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of housing issues, resources, and public assistance programs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and community organizations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
Familiarity with local housing policies, zoning laws, and fair housing regulations.
Proficient in using software for case management and documentation.
