Are you an experienced Garage Manager seeking a new leadership role within a reputable family-run automotive business? Our client, a well-established car dealership group in Crawley, West Sussex, is currently looking for a skilled Garage Manager to oversee daily operations at their busy service centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to manage a talented team and contribute to the continued success of a respected aftersales business.
Benefits of this Garage Manager role include:
- Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 per annum
- Lucrative bonus structure, with OTE reaching £45,000
- Standard working hours from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday
- Every other Saturday morning shift
- Supportive family-run environment with experienced staff
- Modern workshop facilities including brand-new MOT tester equipment and upgraded flooring
- Pensions scheme and holiday entitlement of 20 days plus bank holidays
Key responsibilities in this Garage Manager position include:
- Managing the workshop team including four technicians and one MOT tester
- Overseeing incoming work, loading jobs and ensuring timely invoicing
- Maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction standards
- Acting as a key holder and responsible for the day to day running and security of the business
- Supporting the assistant service manager in daily operations
- Responsible for achieving profitability targets and workflow organisation
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
Candidate Profile for the Garage Manager role:
