Vehicle Technician – Independent Garage – Reigate Area
£40,000–£45,000 + Bonus | Monday–Friday | No Weekends
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded independent garage that is looking to add an experienced Vehicle Technician to its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in their work and is looking for a long-term role with great earning potential, a supportive team, and a genuine work–life balance — with no Saturday working.
The Role:
• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles
• Diagnostics and fault finding to a high standard
• MOT preparation and general mechanical work
• Working efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• Contributing positively to a friendly, professional workshop environment
The Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Previous experience in an independent garage or dealership
• Confident in diagnostics and general mechanical repairs
• Reliable, motivated and takes pride in their workmanship
• Full UK driving licence
What’s on Offer:
• £40,000–£45,000 basic salary + bonus (dependent on experience)
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
• No Saturdays or Sundays
• 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• Stable workload and a supportive, down-to-earth team
• A garage that values skill, experience and professionalism
