What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring individual with a real passion for supporting the development of PE at Outwood Academy Danum. We are looking for someone who is passionate about PE and determined to impact knowledge, skills and understanding to all our young people. Being a committed and imaginative teacher, you will support our ongoing developments within the PE department as we continually strive to improve attainment across our PE subjects including CNAT Sports Studies.
Applications are invited from Early Careers Teachers through to experienced Teachers.
What the school offers its staff
Outwood Academy Danum has a new build which extends the provision available to our students, this includes a new 604 metre squared sports hall. This is a state of the art facility to support the delivering of an inspiring, inclusive PE curriculum for all.

The brand new sports facility will allow us to improve the provision for pupils and build on an exciting enrichment offer. We are seeking a teacher of girls’ PE to continue to inspire and motivate pupils to lead active lifestyles, along with promoting excellence and participation in sport.

For our ECT colleagues, a full and detailed programme of support and development, including PE subject specialism support will be provided.
