Job Description:
Are you an organized, proactive leader with a passion for logistics and team management? Our client a well-established bakery with deep roots in traditional craftsmanship and a strong reputation for delivering authentic products across the UK is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to oversee our dispatch operations and drive efficiency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise, lead, and motivate the dispatch team
· Manage daily operations and delegate tasks (order preparation, cleaning, etc.)
· Monitor and evaluate team performance and productivity
· Plan and coordinate the timely dispatch of goods
· Structure workflows and ensure all procedures are followed
· Make swift, effective decisions in unexpected situations
· Strategically organize warehouse layouts to maximize efficiency
· Collaborate closely with production, sales, logistics, and transport teams
· Uphold health & safety standards and ensure goods are securely prepared for transport.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in a similar role (logistics, warehouse, or production)
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive results
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Confident decision-maker who thrives under pressure
· Availability to work 6 days a week (Sunday to Friday) on the afternoon shift apply for this exciting opportunity.
