Summary

Our client, a well-established engineering business based in Grantham, is currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position within a small, skilled team of three CNC Machinists, offering a strong work–life balance and competitive pay.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 5:15pm
• Fridays: Off
• Overtime: Occasional Friday overtime available, paid at x1.5

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC machines to produce precision components
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure high standards are met
• Operating manual machines when required
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

• Soraluce
• XYZ
• A selection of manual machines

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
• Confident operating the machines listed above
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, team-oriented approach
