Summary
As the Oriel Senior Manager, you will drive the delivery and development of the service; You will lead the team responsible for the live service You will identify opportunities to improve the service and take confident decisions at a strategic level to move ideas forward You will be confident in working with end-users to identify business needs in the form of user stories and, in turn, work with the development team to iteratively achieve high quality outcome that are user-centred You will use your knowledge of user-centred design and the GDS Service Standard to drive transformation and improve products and services You will build and manage effective relationships with stakeholders, users and third party organisations You will need to confidently manage a wide range of stakeholder expectations both internally and externally, often with complex and conflicting requirements You will provide expertise to stakeholders and associated workstreams You will support with complex issue resolution where necessary You will be involved with managing contracts, monitoring budget, measuring against KPIs and holding supplier(s) to account for delivery Please note that the reason for the fixed term of this contract is due to covering a vacancy.
