Job overview

We have an exciting permanent, full-time (37.5 hour) opportunity for a new member to join our multidisciplinary team with the Stroke Early Support Discharge team as a Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant. We are looking for a kind, passionate, organised, and resourceful individual to join our welcoming team to provide stroke specialist rehabilitation. You will be joining an experienced and supportive team striving to meet the physical, communication, cognitive and functional needs of patients following a stroke within the community.

Please note, we are unable to provide sponsorship.
• To provide stroke specialist rehabilitation in the community.
• To workas part of the multidisciplinary teamunder the direction and supervision of the registered staff, in a variety of community settings including patient's homes.
• To deliver indirect tasks which support the patient’s care and therapy needs, such as record keeping and management of equipment.
• The role includes weekend working.
• A full Driving Licence valid for the UK and access to a vehicle insured for business use is essential for independent travel across the work locality.
