Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide full-time support for a SEND pupil throughout the school day. This role is based in a supportive school environment in the Preston area and offers a long-term opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support for a SEND pupil throughout the school day
- Assist with learning, social, and emotional development
- Support classroom activities and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with teaching staff and SEND coordinators to ensure the pupil's needs are met
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with children with SEND is preferred
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Full-time availability
