Summary
Action Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager or a strong Room Leader looking to step up. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-quality nursery setting in Eltham (SE London). We are looking for a passionate leader who knows the EYFS inside out and can inspire a team.
About the Nursery: This is a lovely, well-established setting in Eltham that prides itself on creating a "home from home" environment. You will be supporting the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting, including staff supervision and rotas.
Curriculum: Ensure the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is delivered to a high standard across all rooms.
Partnerships: Build strong, trusted relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Safeguarding: Act as a designated lead for safeguarding, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualification: Must hold a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years / Childcare (Level 4/5 desirable).
Experience: Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Third in Charge, or an experienced Room Leader.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and the EYFS framework.
Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team.
