What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working as a Deputy Nursery Manager or Senior Early Years Leader.
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and best practice in early years care.
  • Confident leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Nursery Manager with day-to-day operations, quality standards, and team leadership.
  • Lead staff across rooms, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and creative learning environment.
  • Help implement and enhance the curriculum, ensuring age-appropriate, high-quality activities.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Oversee compliance, safeguarding, and documentation in line with Ofsted requirements.
  • Step into the Manager role when required, ensuring continuity and high-quality practice.
