44 hours per week
8am-8pm

Birkdale Tower Care Home, located in the heart of Birkdale, Southport, is a beautifully restored landmark offering luxurious surroundings and exceptional, person-centred care. As part of the Sandstone Care Group, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel truly at home.

We are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and help deliver outstanding care during daytime hours.

As a Care Assistant on Days, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting residents with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities
Providing companionship and emotional support
Assisting residents with mobility and mealtime needs
Monitoring wellbeing and promptly reporting any changes or concerns
Maintaining accurate care records and contributing to clear handovers
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe, calm, and welcoming environment
What are we looking for?

Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
A caring, professional approach with a positive attitude
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility to work day shifts, including weekends on a rota basis
