Summary

Care Assistant Nights. Birkdale Tower Care Home

£12.21 per hour
44 hours per week
8pm-8am

Birkdale Tower Care Home, located in the heart of Birkdale, Southport, is a beautifully restored landmark offering luxurious surroundings and exceptional, person-centred care. As part of the Sandstone Care Group, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel truly at home.

We are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and help deliver outstanding care during daytime hours.

As a Care Assistant on Nights, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting residents with personal care, hygiene, and comfort during the night
Providing reassurance and companionship when needed
Assisting residents with mobility and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
Monitoring wellbeing throughout the night and promptly reporting any changes or concerns
Maintaining accurate care records and ensuring clear handovers to the day team
Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a calm, safe, and restful environment
What are we looking for?

Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
A caring, professional approach with a positive attitude
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends on a rota basis
