About me
Diagnosis of Autism
4 hours per week plus an additional 2 in school holidays.Hours can be arranged in advance with parents to provide greater flexibility.Initially the PA will build a relationship in the home and then start to access the community with him.· Likes trips to the park and trampolining.How I communicate.I use some words and short sentence to communicate my wants and needs.I am good at using visuals like my choice board and aided language displays – make sure I gain an adult’s attention prior to initiating communication.I am gestalt processing so sometimes my phrases don’t match what I mean. I learn through modelling. I will need supervision all the time, as do not have any awareness of danger.
