Looking for a fulfilling role in a vital service? We're searching for a full-time Switchboard Operator to join the team at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. You'll play a crucial role in connecting callers to the right places. Handling approximately 3000+ calls a day, as you assist both internal and external inquiries, including emergency calls.

The Role

- Answering internal and external calls withing agreed KPI and SLA agreements
- Providing efficient, courteous, and helpful support to callers
- Operate internal bleep system
- Proactively maintain the computer database of hospital personnel, departments and telephone numbers
- Undertake any clerical duties deemed necessary in order to promote efficient at all times
- Required to work public and bank holidays, should your shift fall on that day as our department operates 24/7, 365 days a year

About You

- Important to have good communication and clerical skills
- Be reliable and able to work well as part of a team,
- Able to cope well under pressure
- Previous experience would be preferred but not essential, full training will be given
