Opportunity
The Boardof Trustees wish to appoint an excellent ClassroomTeacher with a TLR responsibility. Initially, the TLR responsibility will be for Personal Development & Wellbeing, although this may evolve in line with the needs of the academy. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who will becomepartof our team. The post holderwillbe deployed to Richmond Academy as a classroom teacher with the responsibility for Personal Development & Welbeing across the academy.
The successful candidate will:
Be an excellent classroom practitionerwith evidence of improving outcomes particularly for those pupils are most vulnerable
Have a minimum of 3years’ experiencein the Primary phase
Have experience and a secure knowledge of the National Curriculum and Pedagogy
Have a commitment to supporting & developing the learning of SEND learners
Have a strong understanding of strategies to support pupil development and wellbeing
Have evidence of the effective use of assessment and analysis in raising standards
Have experience of successfully leading others
Be able to inspire, challenge, motivate and empower colleagues to carry the vision forward
Support the Principal in delivering the trust priorities as outlined in the Trust Strategic Plan
Be a forward-thinking, impactful and committed middle leader
Applicants should be outstanding teachers and be innovative and creative in their approach to learning including the use of technology in the classroom.
