We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business & Workforce Development Manager (PO5) to join our dynamic team. As the Business & Workforce Development Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing and implementing initiatives that foster economic growth and enhance the workforce capabilities within our organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, educational institutions, community partners, and businesses to identify workforce needs and develop tailored solutions that meet those requirements. Your role will also involve conducting labor market research to inform decision-making, advising on training programs that align with industry demands, and promoting partnerships that support job placement and retention. In addition to your strategic focus, you will oversee the development and management of projects aimed at upskilling the workforce and addressing gaps in employment. Responsibilities
Develop and implement workforce development strategies that align with organizational goals.
Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations.
Conduct labor market analysis to identify trends and emerging workforce needs.
Oversee the design and delivery of training programs and skill development initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce development projects and initiatives.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the successful implementation of programs.
Advocate for policies and initiatives that promote workforce development and economic growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of five years of experience in workforce development, human resources, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in project management and strategic planning.
Strong understanding of labor market trends and workforce development best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and driving change.
