About the role




We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our New Business Development team and play a
pivotal role in growing the reach of our TV Metadata products.




This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong commercial instincts and deep knowledge of the TV or digital media
ecosystem. You’ll lead conversations with broadcasters, OTT platforms, data aggregators and technology partners — positioning PA’s
rich metadata as an essential asset for discovery, recommendations, audience engagement and media planning.




You’ll blend strategic thinking with hands-on sales activity, managing the full business development cycle from prospecting to
contract negotiation, while collaborating closely with product, data operations and marketing teams to shape client-centric
solutions.




Key Deliverables in the role include:




Client & Market Engagement




* Build strong relationships with broadcasters, streaming platforms, technology providers and media partners.
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities that align with our strategic growth ambitions.
* Represent PA at industry events, conferences and client meetings to build brand presence.




Growth & Revenue Generation




* Develop and execute sales plans to expand PA TV Metadata across UK and international markets.
* Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts that deliver profitable outcomes.
* Provide accurate revenue forecasts and maintain a robust sales pipeline within CRM systems.




Product & Solution Development




* Develop a deep understanding of client business models and metadata requirements.
* Work with product, data and marketing teams to develop tailored solutions and enhancements.
* Champion client needs internally to support product innovation and continuous improvement.




Market Insight & Innovation




* Monitor industry trends, competitive activity and emerging technologies.
* Share insights with senior leadership to inform strategy and uncover new revenue opportunities.




About you




You’ll be a proactive, persuasive and commercially focused professional with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for
the TV and digital media landscape.




You’ll bring:




* A proven track record of delivering new business growth and achieving revenue targets.
* Strong outreach skills, with confidence in both cold and warm lead generation.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data propositions clearly.
* Solid understanding of broadcasters, OTT players, metadata ecosystems and digital content workflows.
* Experience collaborating with product, data and marketing teams to build client solutions.
* Strong CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline management.




It would also be an advantage if you have:




* An established network within TV, streaming or digital media.
* Experience working in international media markets.
