P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently recruiting an Installation Engineer to join their team based in Lowestoft on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
• Carry out installation projects ranging from single site to multiple installations per month.
• Work primarily in commercial environments (approx. 75% commercial).
• Install new systems and upgrade existing installations.
• Occasionally support with breakdown or maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with British Standards and company procedures.
• Complete all installation documentation accurately and promptly.
Person Specification:
• A full UK driving licence.
• A strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Hardworking, reliable, and committed to long-term progression.
• Able to hit the ground running.
• Experienced in the industry (3–5 years preferred).
• Qualified to Level 3 preferable (e.g. Fundamentals in Fire Detection & Alarm Systems).
• Experienced working for BAFE/NSI-accredited companies (preferred).
• Able to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Working Hours:
• Mon-Fri: 08:30am-17:00am
• 40 Hours per week
Working Benefits:
• Company van provided (may be taken home).
• Overtime paid at time and a half (on request).
• On-call rota: 1 in 5, moving to 1 in 6 (payment structure TBC).
• 23 days’ holiday + bank holidays.
• Additional 2 days’ annual leave every 5 years of service.
• Basic pension scheme.
• Travel area limited to within 1.5 hours of the Lowestoft head office.
• Work across a variety of systems and contract types.
