Summary

Maintenance Engineer | Lowestoft | Full Time | Monday – Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm (40 hours per week) | £32,000–£37,000 DOE

Our client is a growing and reputable provider of fire protection and electronic security solutions across the UK. They specialise in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire and security systems, delivering high-quality, compliant solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

They are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support their expanding service and maintenance operations.

Are you the right person for the job?

• A full UK driving licence
• Strong team player who is reliable and self-motivated
• 3–5 years’ experience in fire/security system maintenance (preferred)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Able to work independently and professionally with clients
• Interest in long-term development within the company
• Able to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk

What will your role look like?

Maintain and service systems, including:

• Fire alarms
• Emergency lighting
• Fire extinguishers
• Intruder alarms
• CCTV
• Access control
• Work across commercial and domestic sites
• Carry out minor works and install additional devices
• Audit, test, and identify required remedial work
• Complete service and maintenance documentation accurately
