Apply at UKCIL.com. Reference: 18c58b9c
Job Purpose:
We are seeking two trustworthy and friendly male Personal Assistants (PA) to support a gentleman with health and mobility needs. This role is about enabling independence and helping someone live life to the fullest while maintaining dignity and choice.
I am a sociable gentleman who enjoys gardening and football and will soon be joining a wheelchair football team. I require support with showering and dressing, prompting medication, and assistance to access the community by driving me to places such as football matches and garden centres. At home, I would like someone who can work alongside me on household tasks rather than doing everything for me, so I can remain as independent as possible.
A good sense of humour is essential, as I cope best with light-hearted conversation and positivity. If you're interested in making a genuine difference in someone's life, we'd love to hear from you.
This role is offered on a job share basis - please specify in your application the days and hours you can work.
Male applicants preferred due to personal care (Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies).
