Summary
To provide an advanced clinical service to Acute and Emergency Medicine in accordance with professional, departmental and Trust policies Provide highly specialist pharmaceutical information to medical and nursing staff and patients within the Care Group and to General Practitioners and other staff within the Trust where appropriate. To act as an independent prescriber in accordance with the Trust's Non-Medical Prescribers policies and guidelines (once registered as a non-medical prescriber). Participate in the therapeutic drug monitoring service provided in accordance with departmental procedure; in particular gentamicin prescribing and monitoring.
