The Social Services Payments Team is looking to recruit a self-motivated Payments Officer with strong analytical skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team responsible for ensuring prompt and accurate payments to Social Care providers.



The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining systems to support budget monitoring as well as maintaining the Social Services Finance team’s petty cash and purchasing card accounts, contributing to efficient financial operations and high standards of service delivery.



For the role, we ask that you have:

Level 3 qualification/s on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor the communication to suit the recipient.
Experience of working within a financial environment.
