Mitie Fire Protection is expanding its national delivery team, and we are looking for skilled and reliable Passive Fire Installers to carry out fire-stopping and compartmentation works across our client portfolio. This role is essential in ensuring buildings remain fully compliant with fire safety regulations while maintaining the highest installation standards.
What You'll Be Doing
-Installing fire-stopping systems, including:
-Batt & mastic
-Intumescent wraps, collars and sealants
-Penetration sealing
-Cavity barriers
-Fire compounds and putty pads
-Completing installations in accordance with manufacturer specifications and 3rd-party accreditation requirements
-Recording all works accurately using digital reporting systems
-Taking before/after photographs and completing compliance evidence
-Communicating clearly with Contract Managers, site contacts and clients
-Following RAMS and site-specific safety requirements
-Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
-Travelling nationally to various sites, including overnight stays when required

What We're Looking For
-Experience installing fire-stopping or passive fire systems
-Ideally FIRAS / BM TRADA / IFCC accredited (or working towards)
-Strong knowledge of compartmentation and fire protection methods
-Reliable, professional and able to work independently
-Full UK driving licence (essential)
-Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
-Willingness to travel and stay away when required
-Understanding of H&S requirements and safe working methods
