We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Specialist Behavioural Support Worker to join our Learning Disabilities Social Care Service in Tower Hamlets.
££28,880.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week.

What you'll do:
Deliver person-centred care based on individual PBS plans developed in collaboration with Look Ahead's PBS service and multidisciplinary teams.
Support our customers to achieve their personal goals, participate in meaningful activities, and engage in their community.
Support our customers with personal care, medication and all daily living skills as needed, whilst promoting independence.
Use proactive and reactive strategies to prevent or manage behaviours that challenge, while upholding the person's rights and safety.
Maintain accurate and timely records, including incident reports, behaviour tracking, and daily support logs.
Maintain records in accordance with Look Ahead's Information Management policies, procedures and guidance. Keep a clear desk at all times and assist with archiving and secure disposal of records when required.
Take on key working responsibilities for at least one customer, working with them to codesign and coproduce their care and support plan, risk management plans and activity planning tools.
Participate in regular team meetings, supervisions, and coaching sessions, and remain compliant with all training and e-learning requirements.
Promote the principles of Positive Behaviour Support at all times - focusing on improving quality of life and reducing the use of restrictive practices.

What you'll bring:
Essential:
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities/autism/complex behaviours.
Understanding of PBS or willingness to undertake PBS training.
Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our customers.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
Prior training in PBS, Maybo, Capable Environments, Active Engagement & Support and/or Reducing Restrictive Practices.
Full UK driving licence.
